This one day symposium brings together mental health experts to provide state of the art reviews on the rationale and approaches to early intervention in psychotic disorders. Speakers include faculty from many educational and clinical programs dedicated to providing Early  Psychosis (EP) intervention in Massachusetts. The symposium will be of interest to psychiatrists, psychologists,  social workers, nurses and other mental health professionals as well as students from these health professions.

 

This course is designed so that participants will be able to:

Discuss the rationale of early intervention in psychotic disorders.

Discuss current thinking on the models of early intervention in the early course of psychotic disorders.

Describe evidence based approaches for early intervention in early course psychotic disorders
