Continuing Education Credit Registration Confirmation: Strategic Plan Conference 2022

Thank you for registering for continuing education credits for the Planning for Early Intervention in Psychosis across Massachusetts: Awareness, Access, and Action for Psychosis Interventions in MA.   

The entirety of this program provides 5.5 hours of continuing education (if you registered for credits for both conference days) . See below for details. 

***You must attend each of the following talks live (either in person or online) and in their entirety in order to claim credits for day 1 (2 credits): 

  • 9:10-9:50 EPINET’s Learning Healthcare Network for Early Psychosis; Susan Azrin
  • 11:00-12:00  Keynote: Youth Mental Health; Students with Psychosis (Q&A moderated by MAPNET)

***You must attend each of the following talks live (online) and in their entirety in order to claim credits for day 2 (3.5 credits): 

  • 9:10-9:50  Sustainable Payment for Early Psychosis?; Monica Luke
  • 10:00-10:40  Access to Care, Insurance claims & M-PATH; Steph & Huck, John Hsu; Panel moderated by Raquelle Mesholam-Gately & Kelsey Johnson
  • 10:40-11:20 Criminal Justice and Psychosis; FFIMI (Panel)
  • 11:30-12:20 Future of Early-Course Psychosis Care; Dost Öngür

Note, there will be a code presented at the end of each talk.  You will also need to write down the code number that is presented at the end of each talk. A survey will be sent to you after the conference to provide feedback about the conference and you will be asked to confirm the code for each speaker. 

After completing the survey, you will receive the continuing education credit via an email from “no-reply@continuingeducationprogram.org” within 8 weeks of the program completion (Please be sure to double check your spam folder for this email). 

 

Continuing Education Credits

Continuing education credits will be provided through Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for those who sign up.  (fee of $5 for each conference day).  Day 1 of the conference provides 2 continuing education credits and Day 2 provides 3.5 credits.  Participants must attend the entire program (either virtually or in person) for each day of the conference in order to claim credit for that day (no partial credit is available).

  • Physicians: There are no Category I credits available to Physicians for this conference. This conference qualifies for Category II credits. (2 for Day 1 and 3.5 Day 2)

  • Psychologists: The Department of Psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical School, a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists and maintains responsibility for this program. This program meets criteria for 2 credits for Day 1 and 3.5 Day 2.

  • Counselors: The Department of Psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5689. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. The Department of Psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. This program is expected to meet criteria for 2 credits for Day 1 and 3.5 Day 2.

  • Nurses: This symposium meets the specifications of the Board of Registration in Nursing in Massachusetts (244 CMR). This program meets criteria for 2 credits for Day 1 and 3.5 Day 2.

  • Social Workers: Application pending with the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. This program meets criteria for 2 credits for Day 1 and 3.5 Day 2.
